Angie grew up riding in BCs Lower Mainland taking regular lessons and partaking in summer camps and clinics. At a young age, horses became her passion. While attending UBC, Angie started volunteering with the BC Interior Horse Rescue where she helped out with morning feedings then transitioned to Secretary/Treasurer and then onto Equine Director. After graduating with her Bachelors in Management, Angie was gifted her heart horse, China. Through China, Angie learned what it really took to be a horsewoman and how important it is to listen to the horse. Wanting to learn more about the horse and to be able to do the best by China, Angie obtained her Diploma in Equine Performance Therapy in 2018 and completed a 5-day intensive program in Integrated Equine Therapies in 2019. Angie is looking forward to furthering her education with EQ Therapeutics and creating connections with you & your horse.

Juliesa graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and became a RMT in 2019. Before starting massage therapy school, she has spent over the last decade in the equine industry learning and working towards providing optimal wellness and care to horses. During that time, she has enjoyed and learnt the importance of working together as a member of a part of a wellness team.

Her passion for health and wellness now crosses over to Massage Therapy where Juliesa strives to support individuals in their own wellness journey. Juliesa’s approach is to treat the whole person and consider multiple factors that contribute to dysfunction, pain, health changes and healing to promote optimal wellness for each individual. Using a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular techniques, stretching, joint mobilizations, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) and more, Juliesa will assess each client’s individual needs and their personal treatment goals.

In her spare time, Juliesa spends most of her time with her growing family, her own horse and either working as an Equine Body Worker or studying to better herself as a wellness practitioner in either field.
